1.) Presentation title: “Hardware applications for Electronic Warfare and Radar Systems in ASELSAN”, Erdal Saygıner

Abstract: Speak of some RF and digital hardware components and their applications in RADAR and Electronic Warfare systems all designed in ASELSAN.

Bio: Erdal Saygıner received his BS and MS degrees from Department of Electronics Eng. at Middle East Technical University at 1992 and 1994 respectively. He has been working at ASELSAN as a design engineer since 1992.


2.) Presentation title: “Microwave Products and Utilized Technologies in ASELSAN”, Şebnem Saygıner

Abstract:  Speak of the microwave modules and module sub components developed for Radar and Electronic Warfare System development projects up to now, in house technologies utilized for implementation of microwave modules and components.

Bio: Şebnem Saygıner received her BS and MS degrees from Department of Electronics Eng. at Middle East Technical University at 1992 and 1994 respectively. She has been working at ASELSAN as a R&D microwave engineer since 1994.

 


3.) Presentation title: “Microwave Production Processes in ASELSAN”, Cemil Kayış

Abstract: Speak of microelectronic processes utilized for the production of chip&wire microwave modules; multilayer processes used for miniaturized microwave modules; thin-film production processes used for the implementation of passive microwave components.

Bio: Dr. Cemil Kayış received his BS degree from Department of Physics at Bogazici University at 1999; MS and PhD degrees from Department of Physics at Michigan State University at 2003 and 2008 respectively. He has been working at ASELSAN about micro-nano process developments since 2012.

 


4.) Presentation title: “Materials Developed for Radar/EW Systems in ASELSAN”, Ali Lafcı

Abstract: Speak of metallization, painting and conformal coating processes, plastic and rubber materials, metal and ceramic composite materials, epoxies, radar absorber materials and paints, aluminum brazing processes, MW ferrite materials and development processes and the other materials special to military and space applications utilized for the production of antennas, chip&wire microwave modules, sub-system and system components.


Bio:
Ali Lafcı received his BS and MS degrees from Department of Chemical Eng. At Middle East Technical University at 1981 and 1984 respectively. He has been working at ASELSAN as a materials R&D engineer since 1987.
